death & family ties
ok people.. im back. yeah from Malaysia.. from Ipoh..where my cousin's cute kids just made me feel so old.. and hahah (kinda wished i had a couple myself) hahaha amazingly. anyway.. apart form visiting my aunt, we also went to pay our condolences to relatives of my dad's who live in Ipoh as well.. and..hahah met one of them called aunty rose and she decided to give our family a dinner treat.. and well she had her son with her.. an engineer.. hmm.. just graduated.. hmm.. ok looking la..hmm.. should be abt 24 yrs old.. they also brought their daughter with them.. she's 16.. i think they all thought i was her age until my parents told them that i was starting 2nd yr in uni. hahaa.. and i have no idea what parents have in mind.. but im sure there was a flicker somewhere.. err.. i sorta got the hint of a match thing.. at the dinner place..
again the next day when we went to another of our relative's place.. they were like asking me to go on a diet.. to slim down.. cos who knows right.. "we need to strengthen family ties"... how scary.. also.. just now.. i was in my parents room and my mom.. she told me to slim down as well.. cos who knows.. they might match me to somebody.. eeeks... im scared. hahaha... i dont think i can live in Ipoh.. err.. for longer than 2 to 3 days.. ill be bored out of my brains.. oh by the way.. the parents are Dato' and Datin in Perak.. cool huh.. im related to them.. haha..well.. sorta.. they are really my dad's cousins.. so that kinda makes me and their kids.. 2nd cousins..
Talking abt 2nd cousins.. our condolences were for 2 deaths that occured without our knowing.. it was a big shock for my dad and his sisters.. one was my dad's cousin..who passed away in april this yr and another was my 2nd cousin.. whom ive seen only once.. when i stayed over at their house when i was younger.. i remember her as someone so tomboy-ish. me and my brother hung out with her and went to the shop to buy sweets.. those kinda things.. its pretty sad to know that she passed away last year the day before hari raya.. she had cancer. i wish i had known her better.
on a happier note.. i have resolved to lose some weight. slap me if i gain any more weight aight? muackz..(no.. its not cos of a marriage match...)
