Finally!!
Hello!! im in Brisbane now.. stealing the use of my brother's computer for a few minutes of bloggong and checking in with the world in singapore.. wahaha and well.. i can finally blog.. i think there is something wring with the com at home already.. erks..
anyways.. i dont think pple know im here.. hahah i had a few pple call me which unfortunately i had i had to ignore cos of expensive call rates.. but fear not.. i have a prepaid with optus.. hehehe.. since im gonna be staying here for almost a month.. i thought itd be chaeper to get a prepaid.. hehe..
its been good.. idyllic.. peaceful.. and soo unlike singapore.. winter in brisbane isnt that freezing..it gets cold in the middle of the night.. but other than that.. its still ok to wear a t shirt out during the day.
i met a few of my brother's friends last night.. we had coffee then we went over to the girls' place where we had keropok and milo... plus loads of talk.. on everything under the sun.. =) was nice.. and i must thank my brother for breaking out of his comfort zone and taking me along with him to meet his friends.. hahah very interesting indeed.. just makes it so much harder to go back later.. but theyre having exams now.. so cant really hang out much la.. but all the same.. its pretty interesting..
one of the girls.. named suraya.. (im guessing at the spelling here) she's brilliant! totally informed and very very overwhelming.. hahah but tres cool! she happens to know my long term long time (ago) crush.. hahah those who know will know who la.. but its not very hard to guess. hahaah so yeah i felt a slight twinge and tug at at heart strings.. but no worries ladies and gentlemen.. im no longer that uber-stalker-in-lust girl u once knew who always had a thing for that little boy.. hahaha (i think)
Its pretty exciting to know that Sg is a very small place.. too small in fact in terms of my community.. i mean..seriously.. in the end. everybody knows everybody else.. and in the end.. it's gonna be too close for comfort. =)
at least here.. i know my supposed anonymity is safe.. wahahaha
but dont worry.. i havent forgotten u lovely pple back home.. hehehe i miss u!! (not so much nuha who is in London..) hhehe kidding.. all my love to u of cos..
hmm.. i think i like it here.. the stupid shows on tv.. the occasional simpsons and south park.. the low fat/soy options.. hahah the eye candy. soo thrilling.. and of course.. the illusion of being normal sized for once.. hahaha its just great. =) i dont mind if my bulgy tummy shows a bit.. not a problem.. cos there are worse out there.. hahaah just that i have to mind the parents.. hehehe
ok la.. i think i better go now.. need to change.. get dinner and then.. hmm.. read? or watch some telly.. maybe.. =)
